ARTIST STATEMENT.   When our three daughters were young, my husband claimed that “we have more tea sets than Buckingham Palace!"  I wanted this piece to evoke both the magic of imaginary tea parties and the elegant ritual of afternoon tea. So, take a seat and fill your cup with make-believe tea. Pile your plate with the sweets of your dreams. It’s tea time!
