ARTIST STATEMENT.  Vintage metal lipstick tubes are "sewn" together with metal chain in this quilt-like wall hanging that reflects my West Virginia roots.  The details in the retro tubes  convey their cache and glamour, with embossed metal, floral designs, and rhinestone finishes.  The lipstick colors echo mid-century trending of shimmering pale green, ivory and burnt orange.
